Re: YYS4BOB's collection.
Mine must be the 13 panel one. A bit different from the one Bob's shown.

It's been lying in a corner for quite sometime. If anybody wants it, let me know.

Re: YYS4BOB's collection.
Very rare to find this boxed Bob !YYS4BOB wrote:I think these were aimed at the European market, as that's where they seem to turn up mostly. I have another version on the way from the Netherlands next week which has 13 divisions rather than the 11.
They came in a "straw" box, so would date to early-mid '80's I guess.
There is a later 3rd version which has model labels on it, but this one is post 1987 so not suitable for my collection. I've only seen this one once, and it was on German E-Bay but I failed to save the pictures for reference.
I have 1 boxed too (with 13 sections)
These are not shop displays but were for sale to collectors in the German DIN A5 catalogues for a few years from 1986 on. (the 11 section display)
The straw box was in use until 1983 if I am right before the J box came. Maybe the 13 section display was during the straw box period and the 11 section display (which is stronger during more supports) came later. I have never seen a maroon box for this display.
The sale price in the German catalogues was 25 DM which would be euro 12.50 nowadays (or apron 10 gbp)

Re: YYS4BOB's collection.
Thanks Marcel. You should know where the boxed example is coming from, you've been there
The example from Germany cost me £10, so nothing changes!

Re: YYS4BOB's collection.
That oval display case looks great. Not quite as practical as a rectangular one, but more interesting to look at.
It looks like the 11-section version is indeed newer as it has the later Models of Yesteryear logo in capital letters.

Yes, I also like the oval displays, quite eye catching, nice one Bob.

See if this works with the new photo upload website Mick provided.

It is just a plain box with a textile in the lower left corner and text line in the lower right corner.
