Some of my latest MB SF acquisitions!

Post by davidlet »

Hello Matchbox fans

I share with you some of my newest arrivals... (see pics below).
In my opinion, it's been increasingly difficult - and time-engrossing, and expensive!! - to get some models that run 'off the beaten tracks'... Unfortunately, the models I'm looking for now are much too dear for me... It really is an investment!! I think I'll have to sell my collection of Star Wars French Meccano MOC's to buy the HTF Superfast cars I want most...
Cheers

David,

Xmas has come early for you!!! That is a very nice group of HTF's,

Does the boxed red Javelin have a silver painted base? i have been looking for one for a while. our absent friend Naji beat me to the last one i saw.

The two TP's are tough to find. And some prepro's if i am not mistaken in the Chevy Pro stockers....very nice.

At the end of the day, you have done very well..........however i bet you had to pay a pretty penny for that lot, that's always the down side.

Enjoy and thanks for showing.

Hi motorman,
No both red Javelins have unpainted bases... Last Sunday there was a guy (Bobbo 'something') on Ebay who sold many HTF Superfast models including a red Javelin in a 'Hitch 'n' haul' Two-pack.. I can't remember whether its baseplate was silver-painted...

Tim, i think there are several cars there that would grace any SF collection. I particulary like the prepro challanger and the tan based dragster (one of which i have been trying to find mint without any success yet!).

By the way Tim i managed to find a box for that BMC 1800 you sold me!!

Simply exquisite, David, you’re really lucky to have those models!!

They’re a treat for the eyes.. including the rare gold Bora, and the plain white De Tomaso with "Sun" label.. very nice, keep it up!
