So you know, this model came from the September "ex-Lesney employee" auction with Vectis.
It is a 42B Studebaker Wagonaire painted in what seems to be a totally unique blue-green. The roof slide seems to be an ordinary light blue but the body casting is uniformly coated in a blue-green that doesn't really totally match anything on my collection shelf. I've attached some photos for review. Let me know what you think best explains this model. Lunch-box special? Fake/modified? The base has a tow guide. The roof slide does NOT have the "B" on the underside.
Side-by-side with a conventional 42B:

Color comparison with other models in the blue-green range of shades:

, I must confess as soon as I saw those on your Studebaker, they are saying something to me and initially they look fine, but for me the flare-over on each rivet seems to be far too flat against the surrounding baseplate area, can you do another side by side picture of the Two Studes baseplates, so we can see known factory finish rivets against the mystery model, thank's.
