Hi Roland,
Miller wrote:Replacement for the backdoor? Well - i´m not shure, how i have to understand this...
there are several distributors für replacement parts.
I ordered some parts here https://www.modelcarparts.com/index.php?cPath=2_17_134 and here http://www.model-supplies.co.uk/ .

Back door on the model is an original Lesney door. The reproduction plastic doors from Flowers are a touch too small in both width and height (i.e. I hate using them). One of the guys used to cast a replacement back door in white metal and it was a beautiful thing. That seems no longer available and everyone sells the not quite right plastic replacement doors.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

Thats why I was asking.
The replacement door (I won´t write backdoor again) I received from Modelcarparts is too small to fit the model.
I will try to make one in 3D-printing.

Stephan, is there any chance you could film or take some pictures of the 3D printer making that part. If you can, you can then post pictures onto the 3D printing thread that has gone a bit quiet recently.

If you want you can send all the pictures to me by Private Message and then I'll sort them out, do some minor editing (remove surplus background details etc), and I'll post them in the thread.

No Kevin this is not possible because I do not have a 3D printer at home.
I always order the parts via shapeways.
