thanks for your positive comments and info on the model. I've got one more resto to finish then taking a break as I've got other projects on the go that I cant put off any longer ( its been 3 years !! ) so need to get stuck in now

Thank you,that was the first one. I've started the golden hawk now so will post when it's finished. I must confess though I have been a model maker for over 50 years so the skills are basically the same on metal as plastic. I used an Iwata airbrush for the paint and lacquer which I think gives a nic...

yes new windscreen unit as the old one was too far gone to buff up,also new tyres fitted as the old ones were beyond hope !
