A few Photo's from the Whitewebs Transport Museum, November2001

A cut-away display model of the Morris estate Version of the MG 1100

Not only did they have the XK in white

They had the rare red version too.

A beautiful Zodiac was also in attendance.

'S' type Fire tender, more commonly known as the 40a Bedford Tipper.

The Fordson Tractor had the common Orange wheels

Bet you thought you would never see a real rag & Bone cart.

And finally a couple of interesting pieces that were not modeled by Lesney but deserve inclusion.

Not in the 1-75 series, just added for interest to the Tractor fan is the unusual looking Nuffield tractor

And last but not least a wonderful piece of ancient machinery, The Ploughing Engine.

The ploughing engine was used to pull a cable mounted plough (plow), this was built back in the days when self propelled vehicles were not allowed on the public highway for fear of frightening the horses, so this engine was never built with the intention of moving under it's own power, when it was needed elsewhere a team of horses would be hitched to the front and it was pulled to the next field, I don't know when this was built but at a guess it's at least 110 years old and is the Granddaddy of all the Yesteryear steam driven vehicles. I think this should have a large winding drum mounted underneath for drawing in the plough, it has probably been removed for restoration.
