Early Orange Bulldozer

As promised earlier on in the week, here are some pics of my now cleaned up orange bulldozer. They must have been real craftsmen in the Lesney factory back then, the engine detailing on models such as this and the 1-75 Compressor Trucks is a million miles better than anything to be found on a modern diecast. Nicer to my eyes than the bits of silver plastic protruding through some Superfast bonnets too.......
Does anyone know if there were ever any plans to make anything to hitch behind any of the bulldozers/tractors, either large or small scales? I can't think of anything I've seen towed by a dozer other than a roller.

Those holes in the dozer blade look like a casting flaw to me.

I thought that about the holes too, they look as if they were there before it was painted.

Ithink they were used has farm vehicles so would tow anything,also i thought they pull houses down with them,basically they could tow anything they wanted too lol.

I have seen them pulling trailer type earth movers here in the states.

I dread to think what it costs to fill the gas tank on one of those. You probably only get a mile to the gallon as well!!!

Not as much as you'd think - you could run it on nice cheap Red Diesel seeing as it's plant.

True Ewan but i bet it's a thirsty bit of kit when it is fully loaded up working flat out!

I have these k3 knocking around and i have just noticed one has a hook and one doesn,t,never noticed this before before lol

These yellow ones are not Early Lesneys- they are King Size models
However, thanks for pointing this out . I have a few of these bulldozers and some have hooks and sonme don't
i had never noticed this before!!!
