That is out of a road race game from a third party toymaker. I can't remember the name off of the top of my head. They used Mini's bought in bulk from Mettoy, drilled a hole in the baseplate to engage a pin on the game, and added labels. There are a pair of them in the photos, one light blue and one maroon. Interestingly, the only light blue models with the newer Mini casting that I have seen were from these games...

The pale blue model with the added sticky labels is probably from this set. But the actual label displayed on the bonnet is from the East African set which usually has two dark red Minis. However, the Rally Set has been seen with two dark red Minis so it seems both sets could have both coloured cars.

What a lovely selection of Corgi Minis!

I see the green van is the less common version with the Countryman grille. Is the Wickerwork Mini Cooper with black roof a production error?

Here are several more Corgi Minis:

Later blue Competition Cooper with blue bonnet, early primrose Austin Seven. Whizzwheels non-metallic blue, late casting Morris Mini in blue This Cameo Mini was assembled at the 1994 Corgi show at Gaydon, although that only involved riveting it together and sticking a piece of tape on the roof. A nice little souvenir of an enjoyable day. The Dairy Milk Mini is a current item - this was bought in a Cadbury shop last year.

Nice group of Minis. I hadn't seen the Dairy Milk Mini before. That isn't sold in the USA that I can tell. How does it compare to the older Mini casting?

The black topped Wickerwork Mini is out of a late production run for a Car Transporter Gift Set. It was made well after the model had been discontinued as a stand-alone product.

The Dairy Milk Mini is part of the Corgi B2B (brand to brand ) or the old name "Promotional" now under the Premiums side of Corgi.

The Cadbury Mini is also modelled on a Mark 1 Mini. However, they seem to be going for a more modern vibe with the little tabs representing door mirrors, winged Mini badges and wheelarch extensions. It’s a little smaller than the old Corgi, but a nice casting which captures the Mini shape well. Overriders are fitted to the front bumper but not the back one.

Like the Cameo Mini, the interior and base are one piece to save on costs, and this means that the Mini’s deep sills haven’t been modelled. The base says it is a Mini Cooper. A size comparison of both Corgis with a 1/43 Vitesse Mini.
