Just wondering if this something someone else has seen..
I recently acquired the MF-1 Fire Station in what resembles an E3/E4 box. However, every location of the "MF-1" has been covered with a black & white sticker "Gift Set G-5" and on the end flaps is a larger sticker (black & White) that says "Gift Set G-5 Contains: MBS 29,54,59 & MF-1"
I just haven't seen another version of this product with the stickers...Any inf would be greatly appreciated.....And yes I do have those vehicles with it.

I have come across this set whilst researching for my guide. I believe it was issued in 1965. A set was sold at Vectis in 2007, part of Ron Slyder collection for £240, quite a bit below estimate. Also mentioned here on Nick's site. I'm sure I read somewhere the reason for the labelling, I think it was because they reused the 1963 MF1 box for the 1965 Gift Set release.

yes this is known to exist. I I also know a collector who has one.
I also think the sets were released in 1964 first and in 1965 the stickers were put on the boxes,
