That jeep truck had an interesting (although fairly short) history.

Great little model. I had the conveyor belt version with the farm hand holding a sack of grain. Lots of play value in that toy for me.

The Jeep FC did indeed have an interesting history. The U.S. military used some that had three-cylinder, two-stroke Diesel engines (I can only imagine those were unbearably slow, and they wouldn't pass any emissions regulations today!). As it had accessory pieces included, the model with the conveyor is one I would seek out in factory-fresh, boxed state.

I remember seeing one of the real FC Jeeps on a farm a long time ago. I was surprised at how small they were!

The FC-150 was built on a CJ-5 chassis, which had an 81" wheelbase, and they were only 12'3.5" long. Small, indeed! I've never seen a Corgi FC-150 with cast wheels, either.

I bought the cast wheel version MIB back in the day. It was the last production run before being discontinued.
