While cataloguing my collection I came across a bit of an anomaly. I noticed the side doors had different numbers cast into them and cannot find any reference to them It occurs on both roof types. I would welcome any insights into this. Thanks in advance.

Hi Ewan.
The numbers on the doors are casting numbers, The doors had the numbers cast so that they could easily see which one of the dies was used to cast it with,
If a door was not casting properly they would just look to see what number it was and repair the die that was not casting properly, The fact that you have two with the same number is just chance as they would have had a 1 foot square bin full of doors with various casting numbers which they picked out and assembled.

In Nick's guide, the high roof is listed with only 1mm windscreen pillars and none with 1.5mm wide. Stannards is just the opposite, with the high roof only with 1.5mm pillars and no 1mm pillars. I have three high roof models, all with 1.5mm pillars. Is there a high roof with 1mm pillars or is this a typo in Nicks list?

Probably a mistake on my part but I can't be certain as I only have one or two of these,
