Just got one of these (somewhat late!) and found it interesting that several prepro models were used on it.

There was a lot of discussion about the frames on the cabinets over on MOYBOYZ, and I see they covered themselves by stating that the design may vary without notice.

It turned out in the end to be more like...the design WILL vary without notice

Nicely presented Bob.

The Duesenberg I know about so am guessing the two Grand Prix cars are also preproductions as they seem to match the ones in the pictures.

Correct. The Tunnocks usually had black wheels, but is shown with gold, and the Haig commonly had dark red wheels yet is shown with the scarcer bright red examples.

nice presentation Bob.

I have quite some paperwork related to the passport sheme.
Pitty that we never knew where the 4rd cabinet with Aveling went after John Clark passed away.
Now to go taking similar pictures with the other passports.

Could someone please explain to a humble 1-75 collector what this post is about? Also what are the four cabinets referred to?

I'll defer to Marcel for the explanation, as it was right at the end of my timeline for the collection during the transition to Macau manufacture, so beyond my expertise.

These are the 3 cabinets. How to obtain them is explained on the leaflet in the photos at the start of this thread.

This 4th cabinet of which only one example has been recorded, was never progressed.
