Found some old Collectors Gazette's among the mountains of paper work I have.
This is the first issue. I also have the 50th and 100th issue plus a few others. Don't know how I got them. They must have been in some sort of job lot I guess.
I have spare 1st issue and 50th issue if anyone is interested.
What issue are they up to now ?

Re: Collectors Gazette
I had Model Collector from day one when it was a quarterly but as it became more frequent it got thinner.
A change of editor and poor early digital photography and I stopped buying it.
I have quite a few years worth of Model Auto Review in binders but eventually I lost interest in that as well.
From 2013, Model Auto Review went digital online with a better format and can be downloaded for free.

I've never been a fan of Diecast Collector although it did become what Model Collector used to be.
I just search the internet now. Sad but it results in a lot less clutter.

Re: Collectors Gazette
I have all Diecast Collector magazines in binders with the articles about Models of Yesteryear models by Horace Dunkley and quite some other paperwork if there is anything Matchbox related in this.
Just got this Motor magazine march 16 1968 after a dicey seraph of half a year.

I bought it for this article.

Re: Collectors Gazette
Very true..I just like to buy the odd one to keep up to speed and make sure I am not taking 3 months to build a one off to find Atlas or Oxford have knocked one out.
Model Auto Review I like and should really read it on line but I like the feel of the paper it sooths me..
I also had all the big two and sold them off a couple years ago at a very very reasonable price .Someone got a massive bargain but I had to clear the loft so we could have a new roof...I think I must have had half a ton of magazines on models and cars, trucks and music...Not forgetting Model Railways engineering,Meccano and collecting as in Gazette...
Sorry ,What were we talking about?
