Hi Charlie,
Marcel sold me the 8 models he had from this set. Apparently he'd bought all 9 from a well known auction house but only 8 were sent! I got the missing model last week.
Here's a very cramped team photo. It takes Mary far longer to get a photo of her 4 grandchildren.
The model 'missing' from your set is, as you know, one of the standard one colour models

I would agree that this is one of the nicest models in the range. This Bedford has been one of my favourite Yesteryears ever since I first saw trhe original issue - I just wish the wheels weren't chromed!
Looking online I found images of a preserved Ford Model T in this livery, so a version based on the old Imbach pickup would be nice.
One thing which seems a little strange to me with the ATM series is that they are making a point of using authentic trademarks and then varying the colours of the vehicles so much - surely not all the colours would be authentic?
It has been a real eye-opener to see this extensive range of which I previously knew nothing at all, so many thanks for all these posts.

The "melon" load gives me an overwhelming creepy feeling and reminds me of a scene from the original film "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." Those melons make me think of the scene where the truck load of "Pods" was being transported to other towns in an old truck.

Something like this? Can't see the truck very well though:

Not quite, the "pod" would develop into a mirror copy of you, over night. By morning you would be gone and the pod person would take your place.
