What do you do with an old 16c Scammell Snow Plow that's missing the plow and the dump bed? It's now performing is mandatory military service.

I am not that much into military models but for me that looks so right, why on earth did Lesney not do that one for their range.

I was asked in a PM if I made the bed and what I used. The bed was taken from a Hotwheels Unimog (which is where the canvas top comes from). I couldn't bring myself cut up a vintage Matchbox Unimog for the bed, but had no qualms cutting up a modern Hotwheels model. Not to mention it seems fitting (to me at least) that a modern Hotwheel should die to give life to a beautiful vintage regular wheel model.

Joe, you have done the exact opposite to the birth of Hot Wheels when they used a #8 Ford Mustang from the 1-75 regular wheels range and butchered it into a prototype first ever Hot Wheels car.
The score then is even...

Here's another old Scammell truck that has had the bed broken off along with the end of the chassis rails (and the plow is missing as usual). I'm getting ready to mate it to a resin casting of the old water truck's tank. Stay tuned for another military conversion.

The resin casting isn't perfect but still looks pretty good on the old Scammell.
