I decided on the door decal today and went with the newer version. It's headed to ebay, but I really, really want to keep it.

Thanks, the track came from Rob in the Netherlands. If you buy in bulk, you get a discount.

Very nice finish Joe, looks factory fresh. Is there a way to tell the difference from an original and the restored model?

This model is the damaged one from this previous post:

When you look at the axle ends I've made no attempt to hide the ground off small ends. The base rivets are drilled out (heads drilled off and put back together with big drop of epoxy on top of them) and the metal foil tape is still on the underside of the trailer and backing up the drilled holes I filled with JB Weld in order to install the home made draw bar "ears." Those new "ears" aren't close enough to Lesney's to pass an inspection. Also the windows on the truck are to imperfect to pass as a minty model. The decals are printed on my ink jet and won't pass as original either. But, it sure looks nice on display.
