Collector Club and Toy Fair New Minis
Corgi's New Mini, while rather large in scale made a big splash in the beginning ot the 2000's. It was used for both the New York Toy Fair and as the Collector Club model in 2002. You really need to look carefully to tell the difference. The NY Toy Fair version has an American flag on the back windows and "NY TOY FAIR 2002" on the windscreen (windshield). The Collector Club model has a Union Jack and "Corgi Collector Club 2002". I also show a version from 2007 for the Collector Club that was never issued as such due to corporate changes at the time. They ended up as door prizes at some collector banquets. I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time.
