11c Jumbo Crane - unlisted variation
11c Jumbo Crane - unlisted variation
11c Jumbo Crane code 1 with BPW ø12x45 is relatively rare. I already had one model in my collection, but I managed to get the second one. Originally I wanted to exchange it with another rare model which is not in my collection up till now. What was my surprise when I discovered that the code 1 comes in two variantions. The first variation is with BPW ø12x45 with inner and outer smooth face.

The second variation is with BPW ø12x45 with only outer smooth face. The inner face is not smooth!!. I think that there should be one unlisted type of the wheels. Perhaps it could be spotted by 6c and by Major Pack M9 also.

Re: 11c Jumbo Crane - unlisted variation
Just to remember. I've already mentioned it two years ago. There is one unlisled casting variation:

Very interesting Antonin, I have not seen the two faced wheel before. I checked my M9 and 6c but I don't have any with this type of wheel.

I've got models with both wheels (not both types on the same model). I think the flat inner side may have come first and then it was altered (so it wasn't so ugly when installed incorrectly).
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

i just picked one of these up today for a BIN price of 17 bucks! looks like it might be mint in box too
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Hi Brad
which one do you have, with smooth or shaped inner face?

Hi Schenk,i have a similar disc-wheeled Crane like one of yours with the open-floor (looks like a gutter) and also has the smooth wheels(inner & outer sides).
