I found a loose trailer which still had the plastic tractor rack attached. Of course the Ford cab and tractors were all missing, but that plastic rack is a must have (and they are so often lost). One by one I came up with three tractors, all were missing tires and steering wheels. Two of them had 75% of the tow hitches broken off. I was able to score a loose Ford cab from a K17 (exact same casting). I scrounged around in the spare parts bin and found three steering wheels that worked for the tractors. The tractor's tires are all reproduction replacements. I totally removed the two broken tow hooks (on two tractors) and you can't even tell they were there. The windows polished up very nice and I have a slick little trick to bring back a scuffed up red beacon to look almost new.
I placed the one tractor with a hook last in the line up so it all looks as it should. I love the way three broken down cast off tractors, one loose trailer and one loose Ford cab (from the low loader) all come together to make a renewed K20 that is once again display cabinet ready.

Superb work Tinman, that looks stunning. Nice to see models come back to life, as you know I like to save so called junk from the scrapyard.
