Very nicely displayed and some really cool stuff!!
I especially like the "Scorpions". How many models were issued under this special series?? I've tried to find a listing/information in C. Mack's Superfast MB Toys (1969-2004) both Volume 1 and 2, but haven't found it. Any tips or guidance?

From what I know Bill, four different styles of vehicle were considered but in the end only two were released. 001 Phantom, most commonly found in lime green and 002 Tornado most commonly found in purple. Both models came in various colours but these colours appear to be trial colours of which very few were released.
Interestingly some models - trade show models came with clear bodies so customers could see how the inside of the cars worked.
Unfortunately the series wasn't overly popular and was withdrawn after only a few years which was a shame.
