For the most part my interest in MB Kings are the ambulances. these are the ones I have collected so far.

That's a great collection Cam.
That first one you showed was originally going to take a battery and have a flashing light. I saw a mock up of it for sale at Vectis once.
I don't collect king size but have an interest in all things Matchbox.

Are the King size in the photo's all pre-production and if so can anyone post pictures of the production models pointing out the differences.

Not an expert and have no pics, but I'm sure my brother had a 'Pepsi' D Series as a kid and the roof was dark blue or black and I had a Peterbilt wrecker which I think was dark metallic green with no Shell branding so I'm guessing they are all pre-pros. I think there was a 'Santa Fe' Transcontinental produced but presumably it's different too.
