Scale 67:1. Issued in 1965; transitioned into K4 in 1967.

Cab: Dark red (shades exist).
Base: Black; Major Pack & No.M4.
Cab steps/tool box: Inside is smooth.
Rectangular strengthener behind pivot boss: Two types.
Type A: Without rectangular strengthener.
Type B: With rectangular strengthener.

Towing pin: 5MM with flat top (large).
Turntable rivets: Plated or with protective coating.

Tires: Gray or black.
Hubs: Orange or red.
Windows: Green.
Trim: Silver painted on headlights & front bumper.

Hoppers: Silver.
Hoppers cast variations: Strengtheners added underneath both ends.
Type A: No underneath strengtheners.
Type B: Added underneath strengtheners in front & rear of hopper.
Type C: As B, but filled in area lower rear of hopper.

Rear ridge cast line: With or without cast line.
