Thanks. That's enabled me to fill in the gaps. I believe the complete listing to be as follows:
Matchbox Miniatures 1 to 75 1953 - 1980
No. 1: Early Lesney Toys 1947 - 1957
No. 2: Matchbox Major and Accessory Pack Series 1957 - 1967
No. 3: Matchbox Gift Sets 1957 - 1991
No. 4: Matchbox' Boxes 1 to 75 1953-1964
No. 5: Matchbox Catalogues 1957 - 1990
No. 6: Matchbox Major and Accessory Pack Boxes 1957 - 1963
No. 7: Matchbox twin Packs 1976 - 1991
No. 8: Matchbox Major and Accessory Pack Series 1957 - 1967
(Odd that there are two volumes for Majors and Accessory Packs. I think the probable difference is that no. 8 is more detailed than no. 2.)

Did we not invite Philip to join the forum. I remember a dsicussion about this on the old LeFora forum and I believe I was involved in trying to contact him but I don't remeber the outcome.
