This small collection of the Y5-2 Bentley has grown from two chromies to many variants in the past decade.
Thanks to Mrmoko Buy Now price on the VBD Auction added one variant I had put out of my mind completely... the #3.
So here are the best ones from that collection.

Here are the two number '3' issues and the number '6' issue. The difference between the number '3' models are the wheel rims, one has flat 'cross-wire' spokes and the other has angled 'cross-wire' spokes, but is not unique to this particular issue, the rim spokes were changed during production of the Bentley, so upto a certain period, they are 'angled' and all production after this, they are 'flat'.

Look very closely at the rims on your earliest Bentley and compare with your last Bentley, if you know what version is your last, usually any version with all the detail casting modifications like the extra metal at the bottom of the hand-brake lever, those little triangular pieces each side of the main lever.

Racing number from Y5-1 can be found on Y5-2 in both British Racing Green & Apple Green versions, as well as the plated ones.

I think your "gold" version top left may be nicotine stained as the number background is very discoloured.

Hi there YYS4BOB,

I just wanted to show Moyboy what he was missing regards the 'Gold' model and to let RVREVO know that two distinct versions exist of the model with race number '3' on the side,( a later model has also been reported with a number '3' decal, from 1968-69 production), still chasing that one.

In 1998, I had 26 versions of the Bentley, by 2010, this had gone up to 28 versions, but know of 30, so two models are still missing from my collection, the later race number '3', (mentioned above) and an example from 1963, (the fith version made according to my 'overall' listing for the Bentley).

Yes, both rear corner models need cleaning.

I have not forgotten about the Y-10 pictures I would like to show you, I just need to work out how to display them, I like your 'steps' display, but have nothing like it.

Reagards,
GHOSTHUNTER.

I should just mention that the 'Gold' models in my first picture, are all different, no duplicates have been photographed and that's why two models at the rear are sitting on paper towels, this is their packing material and the specific version number for that model is written on the paper, so it was important I did not mix up the models, likewise, sticky labels can be seen on other models and the version number is written on that.

The weather broke just long enough for me to take those few pictures!
