So, is anyone really surprised? The current President is taking a wrecking ball to EVERYTHING. No law, treaty or government function goes untouched.
At the beach, counting down to retirement.

It's good Mao-ist philosophy: we must first destroy in order to create.

Just confirms what I’ve always suspected, many Americans think the world ends at the USA borders.

it is already an amazing rate to get something here from 1 of the very few US sellers willing to sent items abroad and it becomes even worse according to this:

Whatever the final outcome of "Pexit" (trump's 'postal exit") will mean even higher international rates shipping to/from the USA. I think Pexit is a huge ignorant blunder of a move and it would be far better to lobby the union to reclassify China out of the current "developing nation" status.

So true Joe - it's a joke that China is a 'developing nation' There are stacks of millionaires in China plus the fact they have worked their way into other countries like Australia buying up companies and land as well as giving huge loans to smaller nations and then building bases there. It is an insiduous form of takeover that no one seems to want to touch. Here in Oz we are far to reliant on China and need to reel them back in. All our good stuff is shipped to them - food, vegetables and fruit produce, baby food etc etc and we ship their crap stuff back to here for us to eat.

The latest issue with the United States Postal Service is that trump has stopped funding the service. It's pleas for funding have been ignored and news of this buried on the back pages of the during the Covid19 crisis. Current funds expected to run out by September at which time the postal service will have to shut down and lay off workers. The president's response is "They need to have a giant postage rate increase if they want to stay in business." This will certainly have a negative effect on many business operations already strained by the shutdowns.
