Re: Need help with Dinky Rolls Royce query.
The baseplate design suggests the model is post-war and while some odd colour combinations were released in America, I am not aware of that cream being used on the Rolls-Royce and certainly not cream over cream, the wings were usually in black so I think it is a repaint as well.

Any overspray inside the bodyshell?
Re: Need help with Dinky Rolls Royce query.
Not as such.Just through the windows a bit of over zealous brushing I think....
Lets say its 1946.Not out of the question for someone in the intervening 73 years to have painted it up as say a wedding car and then it ended up in a childs hands....There is a trace of black behind the wheels and the cream has slap dash sort of look...
Restoration it is eventualy...

Thats alright, looks quite close to an original issue colour. What I would do with the grille and bumper etc is apply some black paint totally thinned out so essentially you are brushing on dark thinners to tone down the brightness.
