Hi I thought I would share my only Lone Star model of an orange dumper truck. :D

That is from a range of 11 models marketed as 'Highway Constructors' from 1977-83. The catalogue number for it is #1501 and sadly yours has lost the driver. I expect hes gone for a tea break!

Thanks Kevin for the information on this particular model. I can’t believe the driver is on a break again :lol: It will be interesting for me to collect the others in the range.

Hi it would be a great help if someone could let me know the catalogue numbers for the other 10 highway construction models between 1977-83.

I know seven of them which are as follows.
#1501, Dumper Truck.
#1502, Articulated Road Roller.
#1503, Articulated Water Carrier, This is a water tanker towed by a tractor unit.
#1504, Articulated Load Mover, This is like a tipper truck rear towed by a tractor unit.
#1505, Dozer Shovel.
#1506, Caterpillar Excavator.
#1507, Motor Grader, This is like a road scraper but is articulated just ahead of the tractor unit.

1261 giant construction crane
1262 construction crane & transporter set
1263 double (short) boom crane
1264 caterpillar tractor, scoop shovel arm
