Hi can I ask how many different base colours did this Rolls Royce come in, and I would presume the rarer the colour the more expensive.

This is pretty much the known recorded base colours with the tan example (5th model along on the top row), being the most expensive to buy when you find one!

Not shown and difficult to show in electronic images are the satin black bases on models with the blue body.

Thanks Ghosty for the reply that’s helps me a great deal. I have seen a light yellow and darker yellow one with blue body on eBay for a highish price.

Indeed, it now seems dealers are putting a premium on the yellow base versions.

When I sold a Superfast collection a few years ago there was a Greyhound bus with a tan base; That was undocumented but it went to a member of our Illinois Matchbox Collectors club that day that I conducted the sale. Maybe a pre-pro?
