I just picked up 3 Continental Aero Promo cars. The boxes are numbered 4, 5, 6 in a series. I have once again lost the camera so pictures may be awhile coming. In the mean time though, can anyone share some information about these, how many were in the series, which model should be in which box and how much do these things normally cost?
Thanks
Continental Aero

Re: Continental Aero
I do not have a separate list for these, so it has taken me a while to compile the information.
Continental Aero's own website states that there are eight models in the series.
Some more information on the history of the series can be found here and here. (These latter links seem to be based on earlier versions of the company website page, which are not available there anymore.)
And here is the list with issue dates as I know them:
1. MB 148 Volvo Container Truck (1995)
2. MB 213 Model T Ford Van (1996)
3. MB 038 Model A Ford Van (1997) - this one comes with two minor variations with different licence plate castings
4. MB 215 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery (1997)
5. MB 338 Dodge Airflow Van (1999)
6. MB 339 Mack Junior Van (1999)
7. MB 300 Ford F-100 Pickup in "incorrect" metallic purple (2004)
8. MB 300 Ford F-100 Pickup in "correct" dark purple (2004)
The company website mentions a ninth issue to be released in 2013, but so far I have not heard anything about that.
On my website I have so far only covered the first three:

Regarding prices, I suppose most can still be found in the EUR 10 region.
Side notes: issues 7 and 8 have Mattel baseplates and are therefore not within the scope of my collection. Most of the production run of the Ford F-100 in the "incorrect" metallic purple colour was used up for various different short-run promotionals mostly printed by ColorComp.

Re: Continental Aero
I have taken this opportunity (plus the sunny weather today) to take pictures of the remaining Continental Aero models in my collection.

(The low position of the sun made the shadows unavoidable. This has probably been my final daylight photo session for this year.)

Re: Continental Aero
Christian,
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I had only recently went to the company web site in an attempt to gather information. It is interesting that Continental Aero has a tab about Matchbox and as you mentioned, they state a 9th in the series was suppossed to be released.
Seeing the whole line up is great and your list has allowed me to put them into the proper boxes.
