Hi all I'm Peter and new to the forum. I was looking on tinternet for corgi die cast that I had as a kid from the early 60's and the prices were out of my reach for good condition items so I thought I'd buy a "scrapper" and restore it. so far I've done the plymouth sports suburban cat.no 219 and have the studebaker golden hawk lined up for the next one.I'll post some piccys if anyone's interested. I've used modern enamel paints with a best colour match to original, does any one know if the original colours are listed anywhere for corgi cars.
regards. Peter

Re: corgi diecast
Hello Peter, welcome to the forum.
I am not aware of any recorded data for the original paints or colours used by Corgi but you can take your model to a specialist paint supplier and ask them to match the colour on the model although the plated versions will not be catered for as far as I know.
Can I also suggest you continue posting your project(s) in this forum here...viewforum.php?f=18 and you will find many members here will be interested in seeing pictures of what you have or are doing, thanks.
