Miura Acquisition

Last week I saw an item on eBay that caught my eye. The photo's weren't very clear but the price stayed low and I took a gamble. It's obviously play-worn, but you don't see them very often. It arrived today and seems genuine, it has thin solid wheels.
What do people think, does it look genuine ? It cost me £1.20 + postage so worth a punt..........

Looks good to me. Any chance you can read the tool moulding details on the inside of each wheel, something like this...E61, 14D, F43 etc.

Hi Ghosty,
Just had my magnifying glass out. The numbers on the wheels are:

Front 17 & 2
Rear 15 & 28

There are no letters on any of the wheels

Thanks Rob.

That means at least the wheels are right out of 1969 and these were re-tooled quite frequently so for late 1969 the wheels would have the letter 'A' before the number so I am confident a build date of mid to late 1969 can be assigned to your model.

As Ghosty has commented this is a genuine factory issue #33 and nice to see it with the tow guide on the baseplate. Nice and cheap, well done! :D
