Diecast Trains

Post by puffpuffpuff »

Hi from a newbie to this forum. Please is there much interest here in Vintage British Diecast Trains? Can 'diecast' include other forms of casting (eg Iron, Lead, Glass)? I have tried searching the forum, but can only find posts regarding Lone Star Trains, there are/ were several more manufacturers.

Diecast trains from any company are welcome here its just that so far we have not had a collector who specialises in them apart from the Lone Star you mention.

If you have a collection of trains in any material you are most welcome to post pictures and information about them on the forum.

I would say, start one or more threads and let's see what happens. After all, someone always has to be first.
