This little lot caught my eye over the weekend and arrived today


I bought it mainly for these four; the Marzal, the thin wheeled Miura and Porsche 910 and I just liked the Pininfarina.
I was intrigued by the Marzal's roof sticker which is a different colour to the bonnet sticker but it is cut to the correct contours of the roof. Is this a known variation or likely to have been added by a 3rd party ?



The last pick is of one of the wide wheeled 910's, which has stickers, but as you can see they are 'Lamborghini'

Not really something I know much about, but the Lamborghini with labels is from the racing gift set (G3 I think) and would, of course, have had the Lamborghini labels on its sills originally. Can we see the base of the narrow wheeled Porsche?

Its always nice to find early or unusual versions of our models and with those centre ridge narrow (and solid!) wheels on the Porsche, it does suggest an eary issue. A bonus for you is the model appears to be from the G-3 gift set due to the small race number label displaying 68 just ahead of the rear wheel.The defaced front label would also be a 68. Nice find.

Despite a busy week, I have managed to acquire another thin wheeled Porsche 910. This one is in a lot better condition and has the hollow wheels, which I have not got.

Any chance you can see the mould numbers within the hollow are on the inside of each wheel, thanks.

The wheels seem a little strange as the two front ones appear to be different sizes. One of them has slight tread around the edge and the other does not and model does not sit on all 4 wheels properly either ?

The lettering on the wheels is:

Front Drivers side M40
Front Passenger F3

Rear Drivers side M2
Rear Passenger side M26

The 'M' wheels are 1971 and the 'F' is 1970. Is it the 'F' which has a trace of tread on it.
