...what the heck?! I sat there watching the countdown, and at the end there was no sounding of the last trump, no God Save the Queen, no YOU WON! YOU WON! Nothing.

What fun is that?! I'll tough it out though. Now I have to figure out how to pay for it.

I wasn't saying I was the first, just that it was my first. I was more commenting on the countdown system and auction end... it's kind of strange when it ends and doesn't say anything about you winning the auction. You have to go looking for it to verify.

If you're referring to our payment issues, we got it fixed. What I think is it was somehow my fault: I tried to PayPal the seller, but got an error message from PayPal regarding an email address issue. I thought it was because of his email, but as I now remember, my VBD Auctions email address differs from my PayPal one, which might have been the problem. We worked through it, but it could prove to be a pain in the neck in the future unless I make some changes.

I've never had a problem making a PayPal payment elsewhere, though, and I do it all the time. Strange.
