spot the gem

This lot came today,i bid and won this with one item in mind,when it came i was half correct :D

One model that sticks out is the yellow #32b Jaguar E Type.......but is it Lesney?

With those wheels, I would now guess at it being a Charbens no. 26., but as to its use......ashtray (or similar) decoration?
