Hello from an old Corgi Collector

Post by Bill Manzke »

Hello to all my old friends from the MCCH days. Just discovered this site after a long absence from the hobby. I hope maybe I can contribute something positive from time to time. I have made a concerted effort to purge anything negative from my life since I last was active in the hobby. Now I try to stay on the light and bright side.

I have read through ALL of the Corgi / Husky / Mettoy postings, and have learned a few things. Thanks for the various mentions from time to time, too.

Hoping to have many interesting conversations to come!

Bill

Hello Bill and a big welcome to the forum.

I am sure many members here are aware of your Corgi credentials as I am sure you won't mind me saying you are one of those names from the past who could be said to have been involved in the hobby during the pioneering days of collecting.

I as many more look forward to your postings and stories.

I hope you enjoy your time with us.

Ghosthunter.

Hi Bill
very nice to see you are still going lol
i must admit i haven,t added much to my junior collection since the old days where i could find new variations at nearly every car boot,i don,t think i went to more than 2 car boots last year and the year before diecast were hardly no where to be seen, most of my stuff now come from auctions.
i have noticed that junior prices are rising so must be an interest in them still
regards dave

Welcome back to the hobby and welcome to the VBD! Glad to have you with us and you are one of the many people I've missed since the mcch days (or is it "daze" lol).
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

Hi Bill,
and welcome back to the collectors community - you've been away been quite a long time!
The first (and only) time we met was during the 2nd Matchbox Gathering in Albuquerque - and that was back in 2004!
We would love to see you back there....yes, the Gathering is still on!!
