Untrustworthy Seller (ant-94)

Post by AJR »

On 1st September this year, I won a rather nice MB1 Mercedes Military Truck (minus canopy) for just 99p plus post.
The item didn't arrive and enquiring its whereabouts automatically opened up a dispute with eBay.
For weeks, this seller (ant-94) kept insisting it had been posted, wasting my time, the post office's time and eBay's time too.
Eventually, eBay refunded full costs. End of dispute and the end of the matter.
Well, no.
On 9th December (almost 3 months to the day when previous eBay sales drop off the radar) he sold the SAME item AGAIN.
Still it only made 99p with one bid so let's see if it gets relisted at the beginning of March.
This guy is a power seller with almost 60.000 feedback. I'll be reporting my findings to eBay.

My original win .....

Of course 99p is worth it.
He isn't posting because he wants more than his basic listing price.
I'm reporting him for blatant lying, wasting my time, eBay's time and the Post Office's time.
As it happens, at the time I was expecting my win, there was another nice one listed that I missed out on as a consequence.
So, YES ... it IS worth it. Besides, it is an infringement of eBay selling policy regardless of the amount.
Maybe my 99p issue will save someone else having an issue with the seller on something of higher value.

You misunderstand, I’m saying from his point of view is it worth it lol. He should just sell and move on, not worth the hassle.

it is built into the scale of sales and trolling for whales
cant get a read on total as they block what you can research but in USA 30% of the high $$ items are sold, resold ,rinse, repeat this way
this item 6 sales I know of tracked, yet to be delivered less than $36K see if it surfaces again or off street whale got hooked
