Just wondering about Matchbox no 45b Corsair wheel variation.

I presume the little Grey Wheel hubs were used before the black ones came out on this model?

Can somebody please confirm thanks.

No - the Corsair started with a silver painted base and black wheels. The grey-wheeled version comes with a plated base, showing it’s later.
