Another awesome listing. For years I was wondering about what Kielder forest was; Was it in Germany, or just fictitous....I googled it and it is located in the north of Great Britain. Now I want to visit there.

It is the largest man-made woodland in England with three-quarters of its 250 square miles (650 km2) covered by forest.[1] The majority of the forest lies within the Border Forest Park, with the southern tip known as Wark Forest lying within Northumberland National Park.

Kielder Forest was always a stage on the RAC Rally. I think it is the Pirelli Rally these days.
