This was based on the Bedford CF series Van.

In real life there was a CF (1969-1980). CF1 (1980-1984). CF2 (1984-1987).

The difference between CF and CF1 was the frontal aspect for the grille design which was now made in plastic with larger plastic bumper. The grille now displayed a large BEDFORD nameplate.

The difference between CF1 and CF2 was very minor and amounts to mechanical changes for the running gear and plastic door mirrors replacing the old metal ones still being fitted to CF1 Vans.

By default, the model being introduced during 1987 suggests it is based on the CF2 version.

Not a great model. From the side it looks more like a Dodge B Series ... and then there is that oversized roof sign.
