Selling
Re: Selling
eBay is probably where most people sell and buy. If your husband's collection is truly outstanding (brilliant condition, boxed, many rare items) then you could think about a specialist auction, but if not, eBay is a good choice.
There are obviously good and bad ways to sell on eBay! Good photographs really help, including pictures of the base. Boxed models are usually best sold singly, but unboxed and playworn items seem to sell best in small groups - perhaps 6 to 10 in each. If you are putting groups together, try not to mix makes or scales too much - collectors seem to collect Matchbox or Dinky or Corgi, and won't value the items from other manufacturers. Let your auction start low - even 99p. Good items will find their level.

Group shots, rather than individual photos, will be fine at this stage.petethesweet wrote:Hi Try & post a few photos on this forum,

Re: Selling
I have recently inherited a collection of Schuco motorcycles 1:10 and I was wondering the exact same thing. I haven't come across many online at all, but I put a couple on eBay just to see.
