K64A Range Rover Fire Engine

K64A Range Rover Fire Engine Issued 1978. All England castings.

Body: Orangey-red or red.
Base: Matt Black.
Base legend: Superkings or Speedkings.
Wheels: Maltese Cross.
Windows: Amber.
Dome lights: Lt.amber, amber or dk.amber.
Interior: Black.
Tailgate: Yellow.
Ladder: White, yellow or brown.
Labels: "12" & "Fire Control" or "Falck". "Fire Control" can be in yellow or bright yellow.
Two Firemen included with the set.

1. Red body/matt blk base/Superkings/MC whls/amb wind/blk int/dk.amber dome lt/red ladder/"12" & "Fire Control" in yellow.
2. Red body/matt blk base/ Superkings/MC whls/amb wind/blk int/amber dome lt/white ladder/"12" & "Fire Control" in bright yellow.
3. Org-red body/matt blk base/Speedkings/MC whls/amb wind/blk int/amber dome lt/brown ladder/"12" & "Fire Control" in yellow.
4. Org-red body/matt blk base/Speedkings/MC whls/amb wind/blk int/lt.amber dome lt/brown ladder/"12" & "Fire Control" in yellow.
5. Org-red body/matt blk base/Speedkings/MC whls/amb wind/blk int/lt.amber dome lt/brown ladder/"12" & "Fire Control" in bright yellow.

Nice find. I was aware of the K64A Fire Control Range Rover variation with blue dome light & windows, yours however has only the dome light in blue.
It may very well be that parts from the K99A Range Rover Polizei were mixed with the K64A as both were released during the same time period in the
late '70s. Thanks for posting the picture.

I love this model but don't actually own one but to me, it just looks right and that is good enough for me!

Lesney got a lot of mileage out of that air horn mold (almost as long lived as the hay trailer mold).
