Burmah Tanker

In no hurry to get a Burmah version of the Leyland tanker with a green cab, I picked up this example at Stafford over the weekend for 50p.
It is rough but rocking the grey base. It is possible to just make out that Burmah labels were once attached and you are looking at its best side.
I have already resprayed a regular wheeled version into red cab Burmah livery so not sure what to do with this later one. I was going to respray it into ARAL colours but apply Chevron decals on it .... or, in light of its grey base, should I leave it alone and just apply new Burmah labels?

Personally I would leave it as it’s original, anything else is code 3

I agree with the previous comments to leave the model alone. These #32 Leyland tankers are really hard to find with the Burmah labels in any condition. I have been looking for some time for a minty one without success so I will need to make do with this play worn example in my collection.
