Dinky - all / most variations

I like to collect two groups of Dinkys, pre-war or the ones I grew up with 1960s / early 1970s. Due to rarity of the the pre-war models it is hard to collect colour / model variations however for the 1960s models I like to find as many of the variations as possible often regardless of condition, so thought I would start a thread to show these. I will also include Pilen / Nicky models as well as they were made with the original Dinky moulds; however although I do have them to fill gaps in my collection I have not included Atlas/ Norev reproductions.

To start off here are some pictures of my 164 Ford Zodiacs and 181 VW Beetles (a 1950s model which did finish production in the 1960s).

Great thread by ''bako'' showing the colours he has of a single model in his collection and it is so nice to see them lined up together. I hope we see more members managing to do this and it can be carried over into Corgi if anyone wants to.

''Fox'' has done some very similar posts with the Mercury and Spot-On models in his collection.

More please!

Ghosthunter.

Very nice Mini ! I only got the two most common ones.

Here are some small line-up.

They're not, from far, complete. But i like them.

A great classic 24 series (french Dinky-toys) from the late 1950's.

And a from very very far incomplete british car line.
Two are pre-war.

The French 24 series colours look great and are very vibrant. I particularly like your pre war 30b Rolls in cream and green, I've never seen this combnation before, although I have a pre war example of the 30b in the more common colour of mid blue and black with matching wheels.

Still more to find for me on the Bently S3, I have the grey and bronze verson but not wth the darker interior. The South African version is a very rare find!

Thanks !

The grey Bentley with maroon interior is the most common one. You'll easy find it.

Here are the touched SAF with an untouched one I bought for a dozen pounds. You can click on the picture for a quick view of this model.
