I have never seen this long of an axle fitted to an early Regular Wheel model, so I love it! The rear axles were always held into this Caddy body without riveting, but both of your axles have the same "Patina" (Aged look on them, never "shined up"), so it looks to have originally left the factory just as you have shown it. This model would have been put on Nick's very interesting error pages years ago for everyone to share and enjoy, but unfortunately those pages have gone without updates for 2+ years now. Thanks for showing this one to us Red, perhaps one day these error pages may be revived and your model can be featured there as a real Lesney oddity......Cheers! Kwakers
