Squid's Pets

Post by Squid »

After discussing pets in another thread, I said I'd post pictures of my pets. I finally selected some good photos and got them suitable for forum viewing.

This is Walter. He crawled under our fence one day! He is a very sweet little dog, and he loves green beans.

This is Sascha. He used to mill around the apartment complex we lived in at the time. We've had him for almost seven years, and he's still feisty as ever.

This is Jimmy. He, Tommy, Paulie, and Henry were trapped and neutered around Halloween last year. Paulie and Henry (who is now known as Henrietta) busted out of the house, but Jimmy and Tommy stayed. Jimmy's transformation has been remarkable. He adjusted to the life indoors quite well, and demands that I give him breakfast almost immediately after I wake up. He will also roll my die-cast along the floor sometimes!

And this is Tommy. He accepted indoor life more reluctantly than Jimmy, but he has come a long way. His favorite pastime seems to be rolling around on the carpet and attacking my shoes.

We also have a tortoiseshell cat, Olivia, who is still very shy around people. My fingers are crossed that she will break out of her shell with time.

We do have a section here with some of our pets...viewtopic.php?f=5&t=815&hilit=This+is+my+cat so maybe we should move Squid's pet postings to here.
