PostImage Down?

After the Photobucket debacle I spent quite a bit of time relaxing all my images to Post Image.org. It now seems they have been hacked or otherwise interfered with too. They seem to have retained access to all user images but changed the domain name to postimage.cc. This obviously breaks all existing links and once again photo's are not displaying....Grrrrrr
There doesn't appear to be a fix as such. The only suggestion I've come across that seems to work is to go in and edit each post with images and do a Control (command) F to go through and find and replace all references to postimg.org with postimg.cc.
It shouldn't take me the 10 hours it did after the photobucket shut out but it will still take some time.
Anyone else noticed this, not much info out there at this stage. Confirmation I'm not alone in this repeating mare would be great.
Cheers
Dave

Ghosty had a similar problem, but is posting visible images again now over on MOYBOYZ, so presume he has a solution.

Yes, Bob is right I am posting again with 'postimage' and do know the reason for their apparent breakdown a while ago. I do not know a quick fix to re-display any past posted images on the forum and have resorted to going back into my own posts and reposting the same images (once I remember what they are!!) and hope they stay put!
So Dave, you are not alone, it is a common and all too regular occurence with off-site image hosting companies!

this apparent "tampering" is why I don't use hosting sights ....
I just reduce them down to save some space and that's it and maybe clear some out now and then
best way for a techno dinosaur ....I can't even get a basic cloud storage to work , it goes there and that's it ....gone forever

If it helps any of you, Google accounts come with 15Gb of file storage (from memory)... get a google email address and the file storage comes free.
This should be a "shareable" link to one of my photos.....
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1GMs6J ... tKX4NCUz41
and this is it inserted as an image on this forum
.... Hmmm didn't work - so that's not much use unless we shrink them and upload as an attachment... I'll sniff around and see if Google has some sort of free web server... even Google Photos doesn't have a way to link to the file other than this...
https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipO ... VESnV1MHVB
wrapping in image code doesn't help... all you get is

Well I worked out how to do it but its a very convoluted process - you upload photos to Google , create a blog via google blog (blogspot.com) then you post to the blog, insert the photo from google, publish the blog item, got to yourblog.blogspot.c om and THEN copy the image location and post into THIS forum.
Quite frankly not worth the effort unless, like Dave, you want to spend hours doing it

Took me about 45 Minutes for 48 pages of posts. Edit post, copy entire post into Mcrosoft Word, control F for "find" .org "replace all" with .cc. Automates the whole process then Copy word content back into forum and post. Relatively easy this time.....but I will be investigating other options
