Not sure if this is the real deal. But even if it´s real, the price is far over the top, imho. For 50 Grands you will get 5 (five) TAN MAGIRUS

I think the price is a bit high.... I know the Seller from E Bay, and have bought many models from him over the years and even quite recently. This model should be O.K., and possibly a different similar model was shown here? I think Antonin showed us a MW one like this recently when Earlywheels Posted 2 Minty 22A models he had just bought? Possibly an unknown/uncatalogued pre-pro of the 22A? Cheers! Kwakers

For me the shown price is void because if it were under $100 it should be shown as...

$50.00

If it were over $100 it should be shown as...

$100.00

If it were over $1,000 it should be shown as...

$1,000

So as shown it appears to be priced at $50,000 but reallly it is probably only $50.00 (50 US Dollars and not 50 Thousand US Dollars, a big difference!).

I think this is just because you’re seeing it on eBay Germany and numbers are punctuated differently there. Look on eBay USA and it really is $50,000! $50 would be a real bargain... especially with free shipping!

Thank's Glen, a good point you raise and something I did not consider.

...Hmm, S50,000 could buy the real car, but then it would not fit in the display cabinet, might as well put my cheque book away!

Plus of course £2,496.77p import charges and £8 Royal Mail handling fee.
I'm told you don't pay import VAT on used toys but import duty will still be charged.

Think laterally - put the display cabinet in the car!

I would agree that that is the German way of punctuation, however put the item number in eBay.com and the amount comes up as 50,000.00. This would indicate that the 50,000 is correct.

To me this model looks like it may be possibly a repaint - the paint looks thick and very shiny given the age of the casting

Sebastian ;) ;)
