Tea time

For especially the British members of VBD I first would like to apologise: I don't like tea. I'm an absolute coffee drinker and lover.
Despite this said, I couldn't resist this extraordinary teapot made by the Swineside Teapottery in
Yorkshire (Lake District) OOPS! The Lake District.
Found on Evilpay in Clacton-on-Sea, and luckily it survived the shipment to The Netherlands.
Is it the maker's love for Matchbox? Or is it a parody? At least it's a wink!
Now I only have to find an empty box for my 46a Morris Minor...

What a superb item. Should we classify this as a Matchbox copy??
Do you know how old it is.

I don't have a clue how old it is. I expect somewhere in the early 1990's?

Sorry if this sounds pedantic and not taking anything away from this magnificent teapot, Yorkshire has never been and never will be a part of the Lake District. This belongs to the north west of Englang (Cumbria with a little bit in what used to be Lancashire) and not in the north east (Yorkshire).
Being born and bred in Lancashire I need to correct this little snippet of information

I did wonder when Yorkshire had moved.

I'm sorry guys, I must have been confused by the text on the tea label, which mentions The Yorkshire Dales as well as The Lake District.
In which case I thought the Yorkshire Dales are situated in Yorkshire. Not so. Looked it up on the map and noticed my misunderstanding.
But hey, I'm not British and I don't drink tea! So...
But thanks for clearing me up, I'll do my homework next time before I post.
For not offending anyone else I have corrected it in my initial post.

Maarten, it shows you are Human and not a Robot and that's what we like here, OK
Just to clarify, I believe they have a couple of centres of business which is why the Two locations are on the small label.
