So.. this is one of the reasons for postponing the organizing of the collection.
My father had numerous 'copies' of some of the models. He didn't part with htem after finding a better version
(I have put aside a couple of models I will post in a new thread)

I don't collect these, but love well taken, big-group pictures like this. You're going to have a lot more fun with that lot!

These cranes are currently enjoying some in depth discussion, maybe some detailed pictures of all these could add to that discussion.

Included one I have in box (not the one from main collection).

Let me know if you need other pics/details.

Enjoy

nice collection
have not considered post '68 played with versions
here in USA for the most part they are + - $ 5% of boxed ones or you have to take $100 of very poor ones for 2 decent + $30 shipping or a long trip
keep sorting :D

That's a fabulous collection. There must be some interesting variations and I'm sure we can help you find them!

Thanks for the Faun pictures. There's a long, unfinished discussion on different variations. The one we are all looking for is without the long brace at the back. All yours have the brace, but the one with the orange rivet is also interesting. The first Fauns with the painted rivet have a large brace behind the cab. On later Fauns, the cab wall is thicker and the brace looks smaller. It would be great to know which you have!

Thanks, Glenn!

I also checked the Faun fm my original collection (the above pictures are only of the duplicates RWs). Alle of them have the brace (both versions) as you point out.

The one with orange rivet is on the left, Faun fm the original collection on the right

Orange rivet on the bottom with double casting ridges, the other has single ridge on the lower part:

Faun on the right seems to have thicker tires on one side :?

Maybe I should include the crange rivet Faun in the collection as variation?

I found a new variation in the duplicate batch; the milk van with bottle on door (the cow on door is in the collection) :D

And the refreshment canteen.

The one in the background is already in my collection.
